Communication with teachers, staff at each buildingà through regular email & collaboration meetings, I also put out a monthly/bi-monthly library report to administrators, I also maintain a single library website for my two schools
I have very little time to interact with faculty other than lunch. I used
to be able to check in with my elem. staff before school, but the new
principal this year gave me a before school duty with students that begins
before some of the staff have arrived for the day.
I do have two book fairs each year at the elem. during conferences and that
helps get parents in to my facility and promote reading.
We use e mail and phones alot. I have a calendar in each
library denoting where I will be. I write and send a blog out each month to
keep the communication open.
